History
Yi He Fa Enterprises Pte Ltd was incorporated in 1982, supplying mild steel round bars and pipes to small engineering contractors. Back then, unlike Europe, quality steel for specific applications was not easily available in Singapore.

In 1987, realising that the company needed a more specific direction, Yi He Fa started introducing the ST52 steel hollow bars from U.K. This ST52 High Strength Low Alloy (HSLA) steel has the cost effective benefit of combining the three advantages of machineability, weldability and high strength into one single quality steel. Also, thanks to the European mill that provided the right technology, this HSLA steel was produced at lower costs.

Today, Yi He Fa Enterprises has a wide range of quality steel to meet the stringent demands of the seas and on land. The German standard ST52 is now increasingly produced under the new European Standard as S355 steel. At Yi He Fa Enterprises Pte Ltd, we pride ourselves as a premier source of steel solutions for the Marine and Offshore, Oil and Gas, Construction and General Engineering industries of the region.
Management
Tan Chee Seng Roland

As the company's Managing Director, Roland is responsible for developing strategic directions, imports and general management. With valuable experience gleaned from working in Marine, Offshore and Oil & Gas industries, and technical expertise culled from training in Mechanical Engineering, Roland is a highly competent and self-driven person, constantly seeking to improve the company and himself.

Tan Chee Gay Desmond

Desmond is an Executive Director of the company, currently in charge of sales and business development, particularly in establishing strategic relationships with partners, associates and customers. His tireless exposure to the hardware industry ranging from construction to working on-board ships since he was a teenager has put him in a favourable position to establish Yi He Fa as a preferred and reliable supplier to both MNC and SME companies.

Tan Chee Hua

Chee Hua is an Executive Director, responsible for the company’s operations. Over 40 years and counting, he was there when the company was established, and until today, he believes in providing nothing but the best for Yi He Fa’s customers, with his mantra of customer-centred and service-oriented practices.

For more than 20 years, Yi He Fa Enterprises Pte Ltd has established a track record as the premier source of steel solution for industries in Singapore. Building on a solid foundation of Trust, Loyalty and Stability, Yi He Fa has also proven itself to be essential partner to the Marine & Offshore, Construction, Engineering and Oil & Gas industries of the region.
